amber mcmichael
instructor - ballet, tap

Amber McMichael grew up in a remote Colorado mountain town where she discovered her love for dance at the age of 3. Her foundations of ballet, tap, and jazz were laid down through the local school of dance; The Spirit of Dance. Amber utilized her dance technique in local theater productions such as The Wizard of Oz, Cinderella, The Sound of Music, as well as some original productions.
Throughout Junior High and High School, she studied ballet history, lyrical, modern, contemporary, hip-hop, pointe and choreography. Over summer vacations, she participated in the Colorado Ballet Academy summer program in addition to her local curriculum. Student-teaching instilled her passion for choreography and working with young children. By her senior year of high school, she was teaching and choreographing her own work.
Amber is currently on staff for Creative Movement, Basic Movement, Level A, and Petite level classes.
“I thoroughly enjoy teaching the fundamentals of dance to the little ones, there is an unspoken magic that comes with teaching developing personalities, they are just so much fun and remind me every class why I have such passion for dance."
