

*BASIC MOVEMENT (ages 3-4): Ballet/Tap: 40 min. *COMBINATION CLASSES Level A - (ages 4 1/2 - 5): Ballet/Tap: 50 min. Level B - (ages 5 1/2 - 6): Ballet/Tap: 1 hr. Level C - (ages 6 1/2 - 7): Ballet/Tap/Jazz: 1 hr. 15 min. *BALLET: A style of dance which focuses on technique, control, balance, flexibility, and grace. It is the basis of every dance. Highly recommended for every dancer! (Dancers ages 7 and up will be placed in a level based on ability and age): 1 hr. *BALLET INTENSIVE: A class which is strictly dedicated to improve a dancer's technique. Suggested to be taken along with technique classes for extra practice. (There is no dance to be performed in the recital. This is a great way to work on technique all year long!)(Minimum age is 7 to enroll): 1 hr. 15 min. *TAP: Involves rhythm, technique, style and sounds. Improves a dancers counting and timing. You will love this dance form! (Dancers ages 7 and up will be placed in a level based on ability and age): 40 min. *JAZZ: This is an American form of dance, which involves technique and style. Jumps, leaps, turns, and body isolations are important parts of jazz training. (Must be enrolled in a ballet class in order to register for jazz) (Dancers ages 7 and up will be placed in a level based on ability and age): 40 min.(levels 1 &2) 1 hr.(levels 3 and up) *HIP HOP: Street dancing, break dancing, and pop and lock are the best ways to describe this style of dance. It is usually performed to hip hop music. It is the latest dance crave! (Minimum age is 7 to enroll): 40 min. *POM: Pom is another word for a high school dance team. It is a form which includes stiff cheerleader like moves, turns, leaps, jumps, and style! It is usually performed with pom pons. (Minimum age is 7 to enroll): 40 min. *LYRICAL: Involves control, balance, turns, leaps, jumps, emotion, flexibility, technique, style, and grace. Dancers are interpreting the lyrics of the song. (Must be enrolled in a ballet class in order to register for lyrical) (Minimum age is 7 to enroll): 1 hr. *CLOGGING: This is a fast, fun, and stylish dance form. Involves shoes in which double taps are bound to the bottom of the shoe. (Minimum age is 5 to enroll): 40 min. *POINTE: For the advanced ballet dancer. It is a form of ballet in which the dancers wears special shoes in order to dance on the tips of their toes! (INVITATION ONLY): 40 min. *THEATRE DANCE: For those who love to perform!!! This is a combination of jazz dance, acting, and lip sync. Is performed to music from a Broadway Musical or Movie. A fun way to learn the art of dance, acting and performing. (Minimum age is 5 to enroll): 40 min. *TUMBLING: A fun class in which tumbling stunts are included in a dance to music. The main focus of the class is learning the stunts (somersaults, cartwheels, walk overs, etc...). A dance will then be taught later in the year to be performed at the recital. (Minimum age is 4 to enroll): 40 min. *TURNS & LEAPS: A class which is strictly dedicated to improve a dancer's turns and leaps. Suggested to be taken along with technique classes for extra practice. (There is no dance to be performed in the recital. This is a great way to work on technique all year long!)(Minimum age is 7 to enroll): 40 min. *BALLET BARRE: A class which is strictly dedicated to improve a dancer's technique. Suggested to be taken along with technique classes for extra practice. (There is no dance to be performed in the recital. This is a great way to work on technique all year long!)(Minimum age is 7 to enroll): 40 min. *ADULT CLASSES: (offered in ballet, tap, jazz/hip hop, and clogging): 40 min. each *STRETCHING & STRENGTHENING: This is for the dancer, athlete, or anyone who just wants to improve their muscular health! This class includes intense stretching exercises to improve and maintain flexibility, along with exercises to build strength in all areas of the body. Helps to prevent injuries!!!
