Dance Dynamics Policies and Procedures 2008-2009 Dress Code Basic Movement/Levels A-C: pink leather ballet shoes, tan tap shoes, pink tights, any colored leotard, hair pulled back out of face(may wear ballet skirt) Ballet: pink leather or canvas ballet shoes, pink convertible tights, any colored leotard, hair in bun(may wear tight fitting dance shorts) Ballet Intensive: pink leather or canvas ballet shoes, pink convertible tights, black leotard, hair in bun, alignment belt(no ballet skirt) Pointe: pink pointe shoes, European pink convertible tights, any colored leotard, hair in bun Adult Ballet: pink leather or canvas ballet shoes, dance attire, hair pulled back out of face Tap Level One-Two: tan tap shoes, dance attire, hair pulled back out of face Tap Level Three and up/Adult tap: black jazz tap shoe, dance attire, hair pulled back out of face Jazz/Theatre Dance: tan leather jazz shoes, any colored convertible tights, any colored leotard, hair pulled back out of face(may wear tight fitting dance shorts) Lyrical: foot undies, any colored convertible or footless tights, any color leotard, hair pulled back out of face(may wear tight fitting dance shorts) Clogging/Adult Clogging: white leather clogging shoes, dance attire, hair pulled back out of face Hip Hop/Pom/Adult Hip Hop: black leather jazz shoes or black dance sneakers, dance attire, hair pulled back out of face Tumbling: barefoot, tight fitting dance attire, hair pulled back out of face Ballet Barre: pink leather or canvas ballet shoes or foot undies, any colored convertible tights, any colored leotard, hair in bun(may wear tight fitting dance shorts) Turns and Leaps: pink leather ballet shoes, foot undies, tan leather jazz shoes, any colored convertible tights, any colored leotard, hair in bun(may wear tight fitting dance shorts) Stretching and Strengthening: barefoot or foot undies, any colored convertible or footless tights, any color leotard, hair pulled back out of face(may wear tight fitting dance shorts) |
