Katrinka Stayton is a sought after competitive dance choreographer as well as judge and master teacher. Katrinka is currently the Director of Dance Lab Omaha and on Faculty for Midland University and Heartland Conservatory of Dance. Ms. Stayton has trained with Ballet Omaha, University of Iowa, Steps on Broadway and Broadway Dance Center. Katrinka then went on to perform with Joffery Ballet, Moscow Ballet, Dayton Ballet, Central Dance Theatre, and Brooklyn Dance Consort. Ms. Stayton also started a successful dance company in Omaha, NE called Project Diva and Dance Lab Omaha. Katrinka specializes in ballet and contemporary and jazz competitive choreography and teaches contemporary, ballet, partnering, pointe, jazz, jazz/funk, leaps and turns, pilates, yoga, barre and tumbling.
Ms. Stayton has choreographed and taught for ballet schools in the US and France, competition teams, universities, opera companies, dance companies, and high school dance programs. Her students, including JoJo Siwa, have appeared on Abby’s Ultimate Dance Competition, Dance Moms, Nickelodeon, Alvin Ailey, and many Broadway National Tours, and the super bowl.
