Jill was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska. She started dancing when she was four years old and trained in tap, ballet and jazz dance styles. When she was 12, she transferred to Dance Dynamics to further develop her ballet and jazz technique as well as adding experience in lyrical, contemporary, pom, and hip hop dance styles. From 6-8th grade, she was a member of Gross Catholic High School’s Junior High All-Star Dance Team, where she competed in local competitions and performed during halftime at several basketball games. In high school, she was a member of Gross Catholic's Varsity Dance Team for all four years. She was named captain her junior and senior years. In 2011, she received the “All-American” award at the National Dance Alliance (NDA) dance camp. Her high school team also competed locally and was named State Champion in Hip Hop in 2009.
During college, Jill was a member of the Creighton University Dance Team all four of her years. She was voted captain her sophomore, junior, and senior years. While being on the team she was able to travel and perform in many famous arenas such as Madison Square Garden in New York City, the AT&T Center in San Antonio, and the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia. Jill graduated from Creighton University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Finance and Business Intelligence & Analytics. She is currently employed at University of Nebraska Medical Center as a Financial Analyst.
Jill has been an instructor at Dance Dynamics since 2013, and also assists with the Dance Dynamics Ensemble and Dance Dynamics Company. Not only does she love to share her passion and knowledge of dance with all of her students, but she also loves to pass on the many life lessons dance has taught her over the years.
