Our mission is to provide a positive atmosphere for our dancers to grow as technicians, artists, and performers. We aim to instill confidence and character in our students. We live to dance and thrive on sharing our passion with our students. Passion, hard work, and dedication is what we pride ourselves on!
Our history
Dance Dynamics was established in 2002 in Papillion, NE. The studio started with about 60 students and offered ballet, tap, jazz, pom, hip hop, and tumbling classes. Their inaugural recital was held at Bryan High School and was titled Dreams Really Do Come True.
In 2007, Dance Dynamics held auditions for their first competition team, Dance Dynamics Company (DDC). DDC participates in about 3-4 local competitions per season, and has also traveled to compete nationally in Minneapolis, Kansas City, and Lake Geneva. The team members have opportunities to attend multiple dance conventions and workshops throughout the year to learn from famous artists such as Travis Wall, Kenny Wormald, Stacey Tookey, Anthony Morigerato, and more. In addition, the team learns choreography pieces from famous artists like Seb Mersch (Top 8 finalist of So You Think You Can Dance: Canada), Jon Finck (professional dancer/convention teacher/competition judge), and Jeremy Duvall (Instructor at EDGE Performing Arts Center in Los Angeles).
Then, in 2013, the Dance Dynamics Ensemble (Performance Team) was started to allow dancers to further their technique while also performing at different venues such as the Bellevue Berry Farm, Vala's Pumpkin Patch, and local nursing homes. In addition to the Dance Dynamics Ensemble, an all boys hip hop competition team, "Pra-da-geezzz", was also founded. Since then, the "Pra-da-geezzz" also compete in tap and some other members have gone on to compete in other genres, such as theatre dance.
As part of their 10 year anniversary, Dance Dynamics expanded and opened a third studio within their current space. Over the years, Dance Dynamics has experienced continuous growth and currently has over 225 students. They offer ballet, jazz, lyrical/contemporary, pointe, tap, clogging, hip hop, break dancing, turns & leaps/technique, and tumbling classes.
